If you think reception is similar with at&t and Verizon, you obviously don't travel.

This. I get better reception in rural areas on Verizon than I ever did on AT&T and T-Mo, and that's after T-Mo expanded the 600MHz network.

I think that my rural experience is different. It's not great out here, but Verizon is worse out here. I only have acceptable internet because of an unlimited data hotspot that my mom had gotten on her plan a couple of years ago.
