I am new here (long time lurker pre-CES Bionic), and I will help bring the cliff jumper average down with the zen state of mind that I have acheived over the passed year.
You see, I have a 3.5 year old blackberry pearl that I have kept through the thunderbolt, bionic, and now the razr releases. I will wait, patiently for the Gnex that I have so longed for.

Oddly enough, money nor contract obligations have kept me from buying other phones.
I have just wanted to wait for something special to come along.
You could say I have saved myself for "marriage".... to android... hahah

They NEVER said a release date.

And if you look in the Bionic thread, the RAZR thread and every other phone that has come out you will see people ing about the dates.

I have a real source and there is NO official date yet.

Look- that's still an aggravatingly long time. The device was unveiled a MONTH ago!

If I don't get something concrete within a week, I'm getting an iPhone. At least they are prompt and don't let carriers shaft their customers.

This is nothing compared to what HP did to us webOS users. I waited months for them to to release the Pre 3 only to have them pull the plug webOS.

Unfortunately, like the date, nobody really knows. I'm thinking $700 off contract, but $675 to $750 would not surprise me.

I don't come here that often, but that Panda guy is recommending on twitter that people "rent" a Rezound while they wait since the return date extension. Doesn't sound promising.

Last thought. Every potential nexus buyer should go by a Rezound.. Use it for 13 days and then exchange it. May as well enjoy the wait

I'm like you except my first love (webOS) is dying. The Galaxy Nexus is the supermodel I will spend some time with while I wait to see if my first love somehow survives.

I almost feel like I'm cheating! LOL
