"Ok Google" suddenly stopped working on my Moto X

Hi All,
Bought the new Moto X 2 days ago. Both Moto voice as well as "Ok google" were working fine the first day but all of a sudden, "Ok google" just stopped working. Tried many things. Google search settings >> Voice >> Ok google detection >> From any screen got me to a page where it asked me to record "ok google" three times at one arm distance. I said "Ok google" but it just did not record. I was like speaking to a rock.
Even disabling Moto voice does not bring back "Ok Google" into action. Could not understand whats wrong and hence i requested for a replacement.
Has anybody faced the same problem?

I haven't bothered to turn Google Voice Search ("Ok Google") on since Moto Voice does a fine job for me. Does Moto Voice work for you?

It does but as you nay have noticed moto voice is synced with google voice and things that you need google for, the google voice will perform them faster.
They were both working on my device for me but suddenly Google voice for disabled.
And now I'm not able to use it.
Is this a problem with moto x?

You can use Moto Voice or Google Now. Can't use both

To use 'OK Google', go to the moto app, turn off voice. You can't use both.
