Yeah ...hopefully a update fixes itOne of the first things I noticed when I picked up my 1P7P last month.
Sucks because it really came in handy when driving or also in my particular case, out riding my bike.

I was able to fix the issue by uninstalling GBoard. When you uninstall it it reverts back to an older version of the keyboard. So not sure if this is an issue specific to GBoard or the OnePlus 7 Pro, but this seems to have fixed it for now. Hopefully a future update of either the GBoard or OnePlus 7 Pro fixes this.
New update to Gboard in the play store
Have you already tried Gboard beta? Any difference?I just installed it and it doesn't work again. Going back to the older version.
Haven't tried it much after the updateI just installed it and it doesn't work again. Going back to the older version.
Might be worth a try..Have you already tried Gboard beta? Any difference?
Honestly I was so disappointed with it I stopped trying it completely.
Will give it another shot..
I also do not use voice dictation hardly ever except the rare occasion while driving. So I just tested mine and it works just fine for me. No missed words. Of course you can't talk to it like you might a real person sitting next to you. I talk more deliberately, and enunciate clearly, and it never misses a word for me??? YMMV
Running Android 10 by the way.
