ooVoo post 2.3.3 update

Has anyone else tried using ooVoo since updating to 2.3.3? I am trying to video chat with a PC but a few seconds into the call the call just drops. After the dropped call, the app on my phone is hung, i still have an icon in the notification area but clicking on it won't open the app. I need to go into applications and stop it manually. Anyone else have this issue?
 
The same exact thing happened to me last night. The other person had to turn their camera off, just so it would stop crashing. I hope they get an update for this soon.
 
How did you open a ticket? I think I need to as well. The more ppl that bring this to their attention, the better chance we have of getting it fixed in a good time frame.
 
I just got an email from ooVoo saying the gingerbread maintenance release should fix the problem.

The maintenance update didn't do anything to fix my ooVoo issues. Can anyone else confirm you are also seeing the same issue post update?
 
I am having a similar issue with my Evo ... grant it, I did not try ooVoo prior to updating to 2.3.3. I have just recently acquired my Evo and am still learning the android system; however, as you pointed out in your first post, when I start ooVoo, it connects and works for a second, then apparently disconnects (though the icon for the app still says the call is active). I have had to wait for several minutes or force close the app every time afterwards. After installing 2.3.3 manually the second day after getting my phone, I'm wondering if I should have held off for further updates and testing ... is there any way to revert back to 2.2 now? Have you learned anything else?
