Unfortunately it is just a change made in the software. There's a couple workarounds here: https://forums.androidcentral.com/o...3-vibrate-sound-toggle-possible-solution.html Otherwise, to put it into silent or vibrate, you will have to use the volume toggle above the volume rocker.
