So I use nova, and can't find neither shortcuts nor activities. Doesn't look like androidbeat showed. Thoughts?

Hmm, well that was written for the G3 so maybe it changed some. Honestly i used LG backup and it brought the shortcut over from my G3 so i just clicked it and it worked. I'll try to find the XDA link.
Attached is what nova looks like where there is suppose to be an activities link

I'm not sure if you've answered this yet on any of the other threads you're talking about the battery.. but have you "factory reset" the phone?

Ok, got the other way figured out.
Download Quick shortcut maker on the play store.
Open it, change 'incremental search' to ' normal search' and search for Access.
You should get a Settings option that you can expand. Look for one labeled Access Lock and click on it.
You can then try to see if it works out just make the shortcut.
You just taught an old dog a new trick. Awesome, thanks brother.

That is awesome. Reminds me of app ops.The G4 still has LG's Access Lock menu from the G3. You can access it by following these steps. http://www.androidbeat.com/2015/01/enable-hidden-permissions-manager-access-lock-lg-g3/
There's another way to do it i found in XDA that i used on my G3 that doesn't require changing launchers but i don't have it right off hand.
It's no xprivacy, but it helped me get control of some apps that were using gps when they shouldn't be and deny some permissions that i didn't think apps should have.

OP; what else have you done other than adjust your Google sync settings?
BTW, how you adjust how often your Google account syncs? I can find where you can change which apps sync, but I can't find where you set how often it syncs. My work account I have syncing every 1 hour via Exchange, but can't find the same Gmail setting.
There is no fixing this battery..i have virtually everything off and its still trash
I had adjusted my display to Auto, my email syncs to Manual, and only have certain Google functions syncing. See pics below..
