So starting a few days ago, Cell Standby is using about 50 percent of my battery. Ive tried factory reset, disabling radio, everything. It drains even while on the charger if im running foxfi. Im on Stock ZVJ.

How much time do you have without a signal? Searching for a signal and tethering are 2 of the worst battery offenders...

I rarely have no signal. Ive been all over the state (Texas) the last week and it does it even with the radio off.

Idk, I bought this phone used on ebay about 2 months ago. Its the stock battery tho I think. my phones acting really weird though, like ive had it on for an hour since boot, and it says its been on battery for 7 hours.

Yeah, I know I had worse signal on zvj than on zvd. How much time does it say you are without signal under Cell Standby in the battery screen?

There is any number of things that can be causing battery issues. I don't know all your settings (is gps always on, for example). Or what apps you have...any apps showing up using a lot of battery? Oooor the battery could be old and need to be replaced...

24%, and im thinking about downgrading to zvh or zvd, or maybe flash a custom rom.

You lied to me, sir. :p That's a rather high percentage to be without signal. I have crappy coverage but my Optimus S was rarely without signal for more than 10%, if even that. It was usually around 5%. I got a Epic 4G Touch 2 weeks ago and my time without signal is much worse (crappy Samsung radios -_-) and my battery suffers for it.

If you are able to, I'd say downgrade to d or h and flash a custom rom.... With cm7 I was able to get 30+ hours from a single charge.

Don't downgrade to ZVH that had to many bugs, plus battery life was not as good. I would go to ZVD, and with the patch you can still use ZVJ roms if you want.
