Optimus V Price Raised!!! Scandal!!!

I just check virgin mobile website the price is at $199 for the Optimus v. I was lucky to get it for 140.

You can use Google Maps with Google Latitude to track your phone and find it if you loose it or it's stolen. The advantage here is if your phone is turned off or the battery is dead, you can see where it was last time it was on, and have at least some reference to track it with. With the text location apps, the phone must be turned on, and have GPS turned on at that moment for it to work.

Latitude is also good for keeping track of your kids, I don't advocate spying, but if I can't contact them, it's nice to be able to log into iGoogle and see where they are.

Wonderful. I disabled my latitude a week ago... Ahhh I love my luck.

And don't have kids to keep track of, I'm fine there :P

Having the Intercept and Optimus at $199 makes sense. For most users, the decision will be between physical or software keyboard. I don't think they care about Android 2.1 vs 2.2 as much. VM will be wise to keep the phones at the same price while they are both still being sold.

I just noticed that the blackberry phone is 150 bucks wow i guess they want to get rid of the black berry

Or they are trying to recoup the costs of the popular Optimus V and the dirt cheap data plan. The crackberry costs another 10 bucks a month for service.
