Ordered the s21 Ultra 512gb

Couldn't let the $800 iPhone 8 deduction pass me by. Daughter had an extra one. I also couldn't get a 256gb until November and 128 is no enough. With the phone that has a hundred megapixel camera, you got to have a decent amount of storage.

So, how easy will the upgrade be coming from an LG v40 to the 21 Ultra? Is anything be totally automatic? Do I have to put in all emails and passwords again and what about loading in Textra is what I used for messages. I've heard they're are programs like iMessage that can be used for an Android. I saw one called fire chat which says it bounces messages from Wi-Fi to Wi-Fi until it reaches its destination. It sounds exhausting!

Congrat on the phone !
Use smart switch with the native Samsung message app to transfer from old device to new one , then open textra and should all be there .

And install Good Lock from the Samsung Galaxy store to give yourself a ton of customisation options.

Very rare. I managed to grab T-mobile variant 512gb when I saw it last week, can't have second thought or ask for wife permission .

This has happened before with my LG v20 and my LG g40 but it hasn't happened in a long time. Have any of you had this problem will you go to start typing and no letters come up?

I don't have the s21 ultra 512 yet because it's on backorder. It seems as though it could come in this week and I might get it by the end of the week but who knows. I wonder what kind of size 100 megapixel file would have at 100%. Do any of you know? Could be 75 MB or 100 MB.

Mustang, I am coming from an LG. I thought that smart switch doesn't work on LG's anymore.

Hello, you having hard time replying here?

Yes Good Lock from galaxy Store , smart switch on the phone can work from any previous phones , just hook a cable and OTG adapter between them to transfer data

This answer was for a brand new posting that I wrote because when I tried to reply in this thread I hit the open box where it said believe it said type here nothing happened. Then by accident I touched one of the postings and then I got the dropbox the says reply, reply with quote. It wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened to me a year and a half ago when I had the problem. Thanks for answering the questions Mustang.

Yes Good Lock is from the Galaxy Store and you get the modules from there as well.

I need this OTG below (it's not done wirelessly?)& I download Smart Switch for the LGv40 and for the Samsung s21 ultra. Then I would imagine I do not use the AT&t Smart Transfer, or is that not true because I think that brings in the emails maybe some of the browser stuff too and also downloads the apps from the Play store. So do I ignore the AT&T app?

There are some apps like Keeping My Notes that produces files and they usually put on the main drive I guess in the 16 GB of memory or maybe not because that's ram and maybe it just all goes into the 512 GB. There are some other programs also that have files. Unlike Audible, there is a program called BARD for blind and reading disabled people for people like me as I have dyslexia when I read, if not that it's something else but it was always a big problem for me. So anyway audible keeps all its information on their own site but you can download books on your phone but Bard keeps everything on your phone. So do these programs either Smart Switch or the AT&t app find them and bring forward there files?

Getting the s21 ultra 512gb tomorrow Monday. Am I better off with that female USB to make USB C as I assume the cable will be faster than bluetooth? Or.is Bluetooth better?

Cable over Bluetooth, but wifi i havnt tried.
