I dont like the g7 notch, design okay. But it's not worthy. Maybe next year with g8.

And the smaller battery. I know it has a more efficient chipset and screen, but still no reason to reduce battery size to achieve similar to the G6 when it could have the same battery size and amazing battery.

This. Look, I know phone design is difficult, however phone manufacturers should make it a priority to increase battery life in successive phone models. The G5 should get better battery than the G4, the G6 better than the G5, etc. etc.

I'm going to hang on to my G6 for a bit longer. It won't be too long before the G7 price is heavily reduced, I learned that the hard way with the G6.

I know this post is about Europe, but T-Mobile in the US is going to have a BOGO, and the phones will not be going down to 375 anytime soon, so it seems worth it for the processor, front camera and other incremental upgrades.

I got this update Wednesday also via the Bridge program. The only noticeable thing for me was I'm constantly getting the notification chime every so often. Notifications are turned off for all the obvious apps like Gmail and Facebook. Also nothing appears in the Notification list, so I guess it must be an app doing it but I can't figure out which one. Anyone else experienced this?

I don't like THIS on oreo when u dismiss a upcoming message of any kind in action centar the info of unread messages on app icon disappears. So that's i don't it sucks.

I'm different I actually prefer it this way, it's far less cluttered for me.

Has anyone managed to get the picture in picture to work?

Also I'm having an issue. Every time I restart my phone the GPS setting changes to "Device sensors only (GPS only", it doesn't stay on "High accuracy (GPS and Networks)". Anyone else seeing this?

I'm going to do a factory reset now anyway, just didn't have time to do it before now. Hopefully that fixes things.

The factory reset appears to have fixed the issue.
