Will my phone work as a global phone if I use this?

I'm on bug less beast latest build. Is there any real reason for me to go over to this version? What does it offer that I don't already have? Do I have to re lock bootloader?

Cool thanks. Do you have a link to the new radios?

You can just flash the radios. That's what I did and I'm running euroskank's jb rom.

doesnt sound that GOOD.... :)

my company uses Gmail now, which was nice till the forced you to load a security app if you wanted email on your personal phone....

really wish there was a way to just pin lock the email, not the whole phone...

Take a look at app lock...You can PIN lock individual apps.

No. The Verizon LTE Galaxy Nexus does not have GSM radios.

It'll work in the few countries that have CDMA service (at VZW global roaming $$ rates, though).

After running this for a few days now I have to say the radios improved for me. I hold 4G in spots it used to drop. Calls seems to sound better and haven't had one drop, yet. Switching to WiFi seems a hit quicker as well.

The same goes for as well. Flashing thid update was the best thing I've done to my phone yet. Especially since I'm not into custom ROMS.

bam!

first time unlocking/rooting/flashing, success!

4.1.1 JB working flawlessly (no google wallet, I didn't re-root after finishing...I believe that's the reason)

uneasy about the whole process, wasn't completely sure on exactly what was happening through the most part. Huge thanks to dmmarck and wugs toolkit, although I did run into the android with the red caution hazard once... I think it's all good now...

Any clean up steps I should do? I have BusyBox Free, SuperSU, Quick Boot, and ROM Manager still installed, I keep those right?

Does the Q radio fix the random "gray" connection icons issue? I just started having it today. restarted 3 times to get it to stop.

No that's Google services; AFAIK, the "Q" update does not change any radios.

Re: [OTA] Semi-Official Jelly Bean JRO03O for the Verizon GNex

Just a couple of things I've noticed:
1) This has a new recovery that seems to allow 2 update options( might this mean it will be easy to update next time?)
2)my WiFi indicater doesn't always turn blue after a reboot(if it is left on) as it used to(but data itself is still ok)
Anyone else?

Here's a flashable version of the OTA, courtesy of Droid-Life. Flash it like any other rom, so follow normal flashing procedures :).

I flashed this using droid life instructions and now I'm having a lot of issues. force closes auto space not while using Swype. little ticks here and there... I like the Rom, for the most part, just need to know if there is a way to fix these issues. please let me know if there is any other info that you need. I did not wipe anything, but was thinking that maybe I should try wiping EVERYTHING.

Try a full wipe and see what happens?

wipe /system also? I have my pics and contacts saved with my Google account soI don't have to worry about that part. but this no auto space sucks the worst lol

Is it a ROM or still an update? If the latter, don't wipe system.
