i have the same problem and did the same root program and i have no service

I'm wondering is this due to not having stock recovery since you are rooted.

To those having errors -- are you downloading directly on the phone then moving/renaming the file with Astro or another file manager? I just saw another Dinc that got the errors described by teamberkey and others -- the user DL'd the file straight to the phone and moved/renamed with Astro. When he then dl'd the file to a PC and renamed it on the PC (making sure file extensions are visible) then moved to to the SD card, the install worked.

So I applied the file to my phone, and I'm having some issues.

First, it completely reset all of my notification sounds, very annoying.

Second, ATK keeps having apps to kill ALL THE TIME. Some apps are just randomly firing open. I haven't access AK Notepad at all today, or ShopSavvy, and they both just randomly started for no reason.

Starting to become very annoying with all this.

Boot back into recovery and then try to install the update again not sure why your getting these FC. If that doesn't work you might want to do a wipe in recovery and try then to install again.

On 2.2 you do not need ATK it will only cause more harm then good. Don't worry about what apps are opening unless your phone is not working right. This is not a BB.

This is why I love Androidcentral and support forum. Downloaded OTA and it works great. Recommend following logan78511 instructions for the tech-disabled owners. Make sure to save as "update" only. Tried to save as "Update Froyo" and the phone couldn't find it on the sd card.

Me 2............One thing I noticed on my phone is the baseband is 1.00.03.04.06
Not sure if that make a difference. Missing an update ?

DInc Manual Update did NOT work for me

The manual update error'd out and aborted...see atchd pic.

Not sure what is going on. Phone is only rooted with Revoked.

Question Regarding Rooting (after OTA...)

To begin with - thanks for posting the link. I have successfully installed the OTA with absolutely no issues at this point. What I'm really curious about is whether or not it is possible at this time to run something like UnrEVOked3 AFTER the OTA has been applied to gain root access (and be able to use Clockworkmod recovery). I've searched through unrevoked's site and it appears that UnrEVOked Forever is compatible with the OTA radio, but I can't find anything regarding UnrEVOked3 - whether or not it can be run on a phone that has never been rooted and has had the OTA applied. Any insight on this would be very helpful. I'd really like to try the CyanogenMod ROM for the Dinc, but wasn't sure if that would even be an option yet since I did not root from 2.1.
