I gave up and bought a Pixel 2 XL. I mistakenly tried Samsung after a 3 year hiatus. SameOleSh#@ as usual. The speakers on the S9 are definitely awesome though.

It's funny how Samsung and Carrier's are keeping the Note 8 more update vs the S9/S9+. I wonder what the issue could be.

I thought they were getting better with thr S7 and S8 models but thr S9 has been crap. I know carriers are to blame as well. I'm sitting here with my AT&T variant with no update since March I think. Lol. Pathetic.

USC S9+.......I called Samsung today 6/20 with a question unrelated to updates......6 hrs later I got an OTA update.....under software info it all reads June 2018.

I just got a S9 Plus with ATT a week ago. It’s going back. They’ll never update this thing. It’s a joke.

They will update it but AT&T is always behind Tmobile and Verizon. Hopefully it will be here soon. My S8+ had regular updates last year. Not sure why they are slacking so hard now.

Verizon branded regular S9 here, also got the June security update this morning. May update arrived a couple weeks ago too. When it rains it pours I guess!

My phone is locked.....through USC....I checked my son's phone today....he has an s9 through USC.....both phones are updated through June 2018
