An over-sized case, for your already over-sized phone. I will personally be getting a Defender for my Note II when my upgrade comes round in December. It's great for an already drop-prone device, and it's got a belt clip if you don't want to carry the huge flipping thing in your pocket

Anybody going to be getting a Defender or a Commuter? Let me know what you think

EDIT: It's a pre-order. Didn't notice that at first. But still nice to know that it's official

I'll be getting Boring Black as my color, but the Glacier doesn't look half bad. Maybe it'd look better on a gray Note though...

I will be getting a defender for my birthday from my girlfriend. Haha. I am also kinda disappointed in the colors though. But they released more over time for their other Phones such as the gs3 so hopefully theyll do the same thing here. I wonder if I can buy one now and exchange it if a better color comes out in a couple months. Mhmm....

Will the built in covers have any effect on the SPen functionality?

from the 3 cases that I have tried, the SPen slides out like normal without problem.

I was referring to its functionality with the screen. As in if it will still be as sensitive as without a screen protector.
