I contacted Samsung chat support today to learn what improvements were made with the update and below is the result of the chat session:

Vain: •Easier-to-create folders, with a drag-and-drop style
Vain: •A customizable launcher
Vain: •Improved visual voicemail with the ability to speed up or slow down voicemail messages

Vain: •Integrated screenshot capture (accomplished by holding down the Power and Volume-Down buttons)

Meantime, I have not been notified and am a bit concerned due to some of the issues SOME of those on this thread are experiencing. The rep said that if the update is installed there is no going back. He also said that not installing it will NOT impact the eventual release of JB when that finally happens. He said it was tested thoroughly though ALL carrier updates are a collaboration between Samsung and the carrier engineers.. That's all folks!
