Overall disappointment

I've had the Galaxy S5 and the S3 way back when. Overall I feel like the phones get really laggy/glitchy/crashy after a few months of use. Even after factory resets, they have always seemed... underwhelming. My phone even crashes every now and then if I have several tabs open on Chrome and open a few apps.

What gives? I don't think it's me at this point. I also feel like I'm literally constantly troubleshooting something that isn't working right in my phone.

I'm going to upgrade at the end of April or May probably, and I just don't know what to do. GS6 is the obvious idea, but is it just me or are Samsung phones just bloated and slow, annoying, fragile and overrated (sorry)?

Does anyone have any suggestions? HTC? Nexus? LG? I just don't want to make a bad choice and go for Galaxy again, as it seems I've just had so many issues. I've considered going back to iPhone (had an iPhone4..) but I truly do like the freedom of Android.

This has been my experience also. I'm not buying another galaxy. I've always had iPhones before this and decided to try something else. Ive regretted it ever since. I'll be going back.
