P3Droid saying 12/8?

Well I believe the new Asus tablet goes on sale the 8th too and isnt it suppose to have ICS? Would make sense for both to start at the same time and not just the tablet getting released.

It's shipping with Honeycomb...it will definitely be an ICS device within the next 6 months though.

Knowing Asus it'll probably in a month or so. They said by the end of the year I believe. I honestly believe they're the only manufacturer capable of doing this if it's possible.

So he could be an enormous tool like most everyone thinks he is, but ill worry about that after I get my Nexus.

Here's a thought: why worry about it...at all? I don't. His words only affect me if I let them -- and I don't.

Did he claim a December release back in Oct or beginning of Nov and it made everyone hate him?

I know for a fact that other websites have been reporting the 12/8 release date since at least two weeks ago, on November 18th. Sources: Phandroid, The Verge, Twitter Verizon Pic.

Can you find anything showing P3Droid giving a 12/8 date before those other websites? I dont follow him.

Not that I feel obliged to defend the guy, but he started tweeting about a Dec. release on Nov 14:

"Put your money down folks..you can relax. The nexus won't be here soon. Start planning for end of year purchases. That is the new word on the street."

and "@the_R0BZILLA i'm told its december, from the same guy that feeds me ****..."

but hey, yay for the possibility of next week!

Oh sure. I wont disagree with you on any of that. Makes sense. But my question was whether he had specifically pegged Dec. 8th, which I still havent found. To say "plan for end of year" is essentially just saying the same date as what Verizon said in their press release, so it doesn't exactly tell us much and isn't really a prediction.

@negrielectronics keeps saying they are getting their shipment on 12/9 so I'd say 12/8 is legit. They got their GSM version about the time they stated they would.
