Hey, Nemov, I'll believe you. No need to be a jerk. Im just asking for proof. I have done my homework, so if you've found something else, show me yours. I posted this link, from the 18th, with actual, hard evidence, a screenshot to a verizon page, from someone else, not P3droid. Seems pretty clear that is where all the 8th rumors started (I believe), not P3Droid.

I think it is quite hilarious that you guys are fighting over who said what first. Is it really that big of a deal to sit here and bicker about this? Needless to say someone said it will be out the 8th so let's just sit back and wait til the 8th is here and we all have a shiny new phone in our hands. Then maybe we can bicker about who said this so and so feature of ICS was the coolest first.

Actually the same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago -- a day after the Razr launch. I called in to get my account reset -- phone wasn't connecting to 3G Data (I have the original Droid), and he asked me whether I wanted to upgrade, I said no I am waiting on a certain phone. He asked which one, and I told him the Galaxy Nexus.
He said he would put a note in the system to remind himself to call me on 12/5 for pre-order -- and that he would call me if it came out sooner.
I didn't pay much attention to it because of all the news at the time of the Nexus coming out earlier than the 5th. However, maybe he knew something about the 5th at the time, maybe he didn't. Obviously, I didn't share anything here because of all the skeptics.
Anyways, just wanted to say that they did the same thing for me.

He was the only one recognized in this forum, for saying that. There were rumblings from other sources that chimed in on the Dec. release elsewhere. He just got all the shine.

Haha from my experience today, it's exactly like religion. Seems like he has a flock, and if the Gnex comes out on the 8th, they'll say, "see! he was right all along! He called it!" and if it doesn't come out on the 8th, they'll say "see! he never said the 8th; he only said december! You should have listened!"

I'm so tired of the "soon" crap. Give us a solid date for crying out loud, I mean I trust P3 because he's a solid source, just like panda, I'm just tired of the dates being thrown around like a freakin football. I dont like being kept in the dark especially after the whole thunderbolt fiasco.
I really would like the 8th though, cause I turn 21 the 6th and I would like to get the phone for a late b-day present

He said the nexus would be released later then people wanted when everyone was thinking it would be released in November, so I totally believe him that the phone will come out on the 8th-9th. Of course if he is wrong I will drop him from my twitter account as punishment
