Gotcha.

if you get it, save the download link. it's good for six times. but you don't have to use it each time. download the apk and save it. just reinstall from there. if there are major updates - and I have no idea how he works - then you may need to use the link again. but six times for $4 is pretty great for what it does. the charging notification is gone for me without a black screensaver and a lot of other bloat that tracks you.

it's not a must have for most, but definitely for me. would I prefer my other app, yes! but I'd have to use adb and that's a pita.

you try it with Facebook? It still runs and collects data even when you "disabled" in the app settings, it's been all over the news.

I hate this app so much, along with messenger. IG I use selectively and disable between uses. probably doesn't help.

Thank you. In the past I had to pay again whenever there was an update. I thought it was kind of dumb so I stopped buying it. But this is good to know.

also, I couldn't find a way to get it onto my 10+. I tried several methods that either wouldn't transfer or then wouldn't install so in the end I had to load it into dropbox, set it to do installs in permissions and was able to install from there. not sure what your setup is, but just be aware.

For anyone who's rooted, Link2SD (free) does the same thing. Freezing is disabling.


And contrary to what gernerttl said, disabling an app keeps it from running, even if some other app calls a process in it. (As opposed to uninstalling it completely. If, say, the app misbehaves once it;s running, but you really need it once in a while. Unfreeze (or enable) it, use it, refreeze or disable it, restart, and it won't cause any problems.)

What's good about Android 10 is you can pause apps , don't know if it will make it to Samsung phones in Android 10.

because most people download PD from playstore.and time to time(updates) PD becomes useless for some users.and they start giving negative feedbacks and now PD in playstore is a 1* app.

different story if users bought it through the web.i paid IDR60.000(USD$4.20) for it and it works well.and it comes with a 6 times activation keycode.which means i can change 6 Samsung devices then i would have to pay again.but seriously i dont mind.

but here people are complaining because they find it a hassle,security reasons(nah dont wanna use my credit card,the developers is shady bla bla) or they cant afford USD$4.20 but they can afford a USD$1000 phone.

Bear in mind most users do buy from the play store , those that did shouldn't be penalized by having to buy again and again... SMH. This developer is one my most hated list.

I never saw a version number listed on the developers website, so it might be tricky to figure out if the app is updated.

I really believe the reason for all the updates on Google Play is that Google eventually blocks the license validation (maybe due to Samsung requests) & the developer has to submit a new version. (Members on XDA have chatted about it.) The version I purchased from Play Store in June was v15, which failed license check eventually & was pulled. The version I bought through the developer's website in July is v10 & it's fine. It's blocking those annoying Facebook services on my phone, so I'm happy!!

wierd it says 3 instead of 6.i did try to use PD on my Samsung A50s but it didnt go pass the code verification screen...

mine didn't validate the first time on my 10+ but I tried again. try again. if you still can't do it using your original apk, since you only get three links (I'd talk to him about that) then email the dev. seems it should work since it's samsung
