I know this is a very common problem among Android users, but I have not yet been able to find a fix for it yet. I flashed my LS670 to have CyanogenMod 7. After installing a few apps, I ran across the "Package file is invalid" error whenever I tried to install an app through Google Play. I have tried most of the common fixes (clearing cache and data for Google Play as well as installing from the Google Play site). It's not my space, I have plenty of both internal and external memory. I was unable to try not using wifi, as I don't have service (I just use wifi on my phone).

Other Information:
Phone: LG Optimus LS670
Android Version: 2.3.7
ROM: CyanogenMod-7.2.0-RC1-thunderc_LS670-KANG
Build Number: GWK74
Internal Memory: 124.03MB free of 164.87MB
Google Play (Market) Version: 2.3.6

Google posted they are aware of the issue and there is currently no workaround. Stay tuned.....

I assumed that only applied to the recent update to Google Play. I've had this issue in the past (along with error 498) and it didn't start happening until after I installed a few apps. I will keep up with that though, thank you for the reply.
