Panda says to wait?

If you always wait for the next great device, you'll never buy anything

you'll spend all your time in these forums *****ing about when then next thing is coming out

buy the TB, enjoy it...

its about the Bionic...since I hate Moto, and The Blur UI, and I dont want or need 1st gen duel core phones..ill stick with the bolt for sure.. + he alluded to several weeks of waiting for it.

I'm with paulmike3 and WebDev, The Tbolt wait was painful enough.. Coming from a lg voyager I'm 95% sure that I'll still <3 my tbolt even when the bionic hits.. anything would be an upgrade for me right now haha. Also I just took a testrun to my vzw store and played with a dummy unit, talked to the guys about it and decided that i'd show up tomorrow morning to buy one. It's also a good idea to jump on the 4GLTE data before it gets tiered imo.

It's about more than the Bionic, which he says will be in a few weeks. He's alluding to a stock device that is upcoming, and recommends those that would enjoy such a thing to not get 2-yr contracts or just wait. Maybe. I could just be full of it. I was never good at poems.

He didn't tell us to wait. He said we may want to wait, if we so choose. It's about the Bionic. I personally want the Bolt, and I wanted the unlimited 4g too. Enough people have pointed out that they want dual-core, so BMX is basically directing this to them.

I agree with what all of you are saying. I love HTC devices, Love Sense. Love being about to root them. But with that said I HATE their battery life. With the evaluation units that have already popped up today, I think we are indeed in for less than desireable battery life. The ONE thing that I was hoping HTC would get right or at least improve on. Doesn't look like that is the case with the TB.

I was just pointing out what the Panda says. Remember all along he told us 3/17 and he ended up being right. Make of it what you will, but if he suggests to wait, then maybe he is saying that the Bionic will be a superior device to the TB? Time will tell.....

My guess is we'll see the next round of really great next gen phones come out in the fall/winter of this year, although the iphone5 might bring some nice new stuff to the table. I'd get the bolt now on a 1 year contract and then sell it later in the year to get a really advanced device.

I don't dissagree! Might jump on the TB and if the battery life is as bad I expect it to be, I will return it and pay the restocking fee. Won't keep it because having a phone with a dead battery isn't what I am looking for. Had that for nearly a year with the Dinc.

What I'm planning on doing is going ahead and getting the Thunderbolt on a 2 year contract and then since I'm the account owner, I'm going to transfer my mom's upgrade to my line and give my mom the Thunderbolt because she doesn't use a whole lot of data, but is starting to get into browsing on her phone more so the tiered data for her should be fine. Her upgrade comes in October, but I may still hold onto the Thunderbolt for a full year.
