Moto X is my first Android phone. My only smart phone before that was iPhone 4s. I will never go back Android is awesome. So awesome I got a Nexus 7 as well.
My headphones are LG Tone 750, but I owned the LG Tone 730 just a month ago and had the same issue.
When I listen to anything at some point my Pause, forward, back buttons stop responding. Most of the time if I turn the screen on and have the app open the buttons will start to work again. Then most of the time I can control with my headphones again. Some days 60% of the time I hit pause it works, sometimes less. I have even had days it never failed to work. I have tried restarting and it never makes any difference at all. I can find no pattern to this what so ever. Is there something I am not doing here, or do not know about android? So far this is the ONLY thing I liked more about iPhone. The controls always worked on my iPhone. Being free of iTunes is worth a hell of a lot more trouble than this.
The call/Google now, and volume buttons on my headphones have never stopped working.
This has happened on every app I have tried. Audible, Pocketcast, Smart Audiobook Player, I Heart Radio, Spotify, YouTube, so I don’t see how it could be an app issue. I have never listened on my Nexus for any length of time so I have no idea if this is Android issue or Moto X. I need to bring the Nexus to work and try it for a day.
Have any ideas?
