Pentile screen?

I read in a different forum on pentile screens that there is a black issue as well. With the brightness turned all the way down to take away the checkerboard, it affected the colors as well. There is a debate that a purple can easily turn to black with the brightness down.

I notice the xda app loading screen is darker for me. But I believe its a black crush issue that can be fixed via sw tweaking. Kind of like voodoo did for the nexus s

Yeah I'm sure that it can be fixed with a software. Only thing is will Motorola think of this as an issue and fix it. I look at the Atrix (which has been out for months) and it seems to have the same problem with black crush. I don't think Motorola is aware of the black crush issue.
