What if they have fixed all the exploits in the GB release? This is why I would be weary of getting it replaced. I am suffering from lack of root on my GB evo. But I think ur right. LG will release it and will work fine with update tool etc

Seeing as they are shipping the new Optimus S with GB, I'd think the update wasn't far behind... we shall see. Unless it gets much worse, I may just wait it out and see what happens with the update and if we can roll back or get root quickly. I've suffered this so far, I'm sure I can keep trucking on.

I'm pretty sure they're also going to release GB through the Update tool, making it an easy hack for us. It didn't take that long to find an exploit for each SW we got. I like CM7, and until we get an exploit and good roms going, I'm sticking to CM7. But I'm sure the Optimus S community has this

nope no task killer.

Dang... it seems like we'll never figure it out. I just think it must be a screen issue. I really didn't want to take my phone into Sprint. I uninstalled the task killer and it seems to have helped... today anyway. lol

-Using task killer
Or --Locking the screen
Or --Restarting

No dust detected under screen. Running Reborn 2.2.2

Restarting and using task killer seem equally effective in stopping the bad behaviors. I have an advanced task killer shortcut on the home screen, point is it is and easy to locate tool.
