Phone doesn't detect SD card

[AC Question]

A few weeks ago my Galaxy S4 suddenly stopped detecting my micro SD card. I tried the card in another phone, it worked completely fine. There isn't any problem with the card. I tried another SD CARD as well on my phone, but it just doesn't detect any!

It sounds as if the SD port is bad - that has to be replaced. (The part is cheap - $2 to $10, depending on where you get it - the labor isn't.)
