I think we're blowing this out of proportion. Unless you have a lot of Android fanboys around your area...I don't think anyone will know about this phone UNTIL thursday. And then most people won't even go out and buy it until saturday, because of work and such. I know I can get off one of my classes to go pick it up, or even just go to Costco during lunch to get it, so I have no problem there. Although I'm thinking of ordering on Amazon though...get it a little cheaper sooner, rather than the possibility of not having money to buy it at Costco for another two weeks.

He works for Verizon Wireless. Although, I think only some corporate stores are opening early.
I guess I need to call the Corporate store tomorrow and see what their hours are. I was just going to go to the one closest to me but the corporate store isn't more than 10-12 minutes further.
EDIT: As a first post (according to my screen), I didn't have any info to assume he was a VZW employee, hence my question.
I've seen him on another forum and he seems, convincingly to me, to be a VZW employee.

Interesting. All the ones for Omaha are just the regular 9am-9pm, except for some of the smaller retail/kiosk/mall stuff which is 10am-8pm

I plan on being at the store around 8am, I have been saving my NE2 for a phone thats worthy of it.
Lol I feel so...young. I have to go to school, not work. And I can get out of one of my classes that starts after 10...although I do wish they would open at 9AM here in SB...I could get it before school.
I'll be 31 near Thanksgiving this year. lol I still feel young, though I do find myself saying 'those damn kids..' and then I realize I'm talking about some 23 year olds. hahaha Technology keeps me young. Now if they'd just release a working version of PowerShell for the Android OS so I could do powershell scripts from my phone via WiFi against other devices on my network, then i'd be all set. (i'm a geek like that)
I just made a bunch of old people friends on this forum then
. I can't make up my mind to why I want this thing...but I have come up with several reasons. Main one being that I'm going to need a smartphone come June of next year anyways...and I need to junk this Chocolate. And I also will really need it come May as well, for a week anyways. Always go to a conference with my Video Production class and a smartphone is a must on that trip I've noticed the past two years. It's terrible using the hotel's wifi and not being connected while away from the wifi.There are no corporate stores within 75 miles of me that open before 10:00

On a completely unrelated note.. and feel free to PM me if you don't want to reply in this thread, what does that activity bar mean when it hits 100% next to my name. It looks like its 98% right now, does that mean i'm obsessed?

Haha I've noticed the same thing about my activity bar lately.
My bar is at 85%. I think its the percentage chance that you'll need serious mental and emotional help if you don't get the phone on Thursday.
