Phone volume is low both with or without speaker phone

With the volume rocker turned all the way up the phone volume is very low, difficult to hear.

How do I adjust the volume upward so it is easier to hear conversations.

This is annoying.

You tried adjusting it while on the call?

Sorry for the basic suggestion, but make sure it's the Phone volume slider that's cranked up, and not the Media or Alarm slider.
