The display on my HTC recently started waking up constantly, after pressing the lock screen. The phone will also only charge when its off - and even then the charging will seem to "flicker" as if the connection is rapidly picking up then dropping. I have restarted and hard rebooted (not recovery), changed cable, charger and port. Displayed battery % is also dropping fast then charging very quickly - being volatile.
This problem MAY be linked to the fact that i charged my phone via a Mac computer a day ago (not sure if it is stuck on data transfer mode and is preventing charging?)
No notable damage has been done to charging port, and the ports have a sturdy grip.
