Photos Taken With Your Nexus 4 Camera!

I use CameraZoom and have it set so that when I press the screen it focuses then shoots.

I guess that brings up another question, are most of you guys using the stock camera app to achieve such great pictures? Not that I'm struggling to get good ones. Just wondering. A lot of these seem pretty good and awhile back folks speculated it was the camera app and that different apps get better results.

Some of the photos I've posted where taken with the stock camera app and some were taken with the new 4.3 updated camera app. I really can?t tell that there is any difference in quality but the UI of the newer app is much better. Here is the download link if you or anyone is interested in installing it. Note: when installed on the N4 it replaces your Gallery & Camera app, so back up any photos in your current Gallery.

Yeah I've installed the new 4.3 camera and taking pics seems nicer overall as an experience because of the volume shutter button, but I don't see an increase in quality (not that I was really expecting one I suppose). But I like the small preview before it swipes away and I like the new menu too. Overall good update.

Edit: actually, one thing that's still irritating. I hate how, since the 4.2 or maybe 4.2.x updates, when you have auto rotate on and you flip the camera to landscape, it does that stupid animation for the whole screen when we should just be seeing the icons rotate. Don't know why its been doing that but it wasn't like that in 4.1 I believe.

Thought these were some cool clouds and then I figured out it was smoke from the fires out here which made it an even better picture. Was going to make it a bigger picture but I could barely see the screen it was so bright out.

Whoa! Any tips for that? I hold down the shutter button until it turns green and release but it's still blurry.

Also, when I use flash, it lags a bit so if my subject moves, it's blurry as well! How is everyone getting such nice pictures?! Please do inform me!!
