Pictures in the files but not in the gallery

Hi,

Tonight I moved pictures to a new album, then I moved it by error to "others" before to select it again and push on "move"... But it made disappeared all my albums besides "Camera" and "Screenshots". And I tried to download some new pics but they aren't show in the gallery.

Now it's 05 am and I spend all my night to search a solution at this. First I tried the two solutions in this thread here : https://forums.androidcentral.com/verizon-galaxy-nexus/240994-pictures-not-showing-up-gallery-solved-2.html

But it didn't work... I even searched others solutions but nothing working. I made only reappear "others" without what I wanted to make reappear.

I seemed they are on the files category's pictures but it bother me to not seeing them in the gallery. Any idea ?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What app are you using to look at your photos -- the stock Gallery app, or the Google Photos app? How did you move the pictures -- using a file manager app?

Use your file manager app and tell us the exact pathname of the directory where the photos are. Also, see if there's a file called ".nomedia" in that directory -- a .nomedia file instructs the system to ignore that directory when scanning for media to add to the gallery database.
