Like the title says ,I jumped ship to the Pixel 2 any body else considering the same ???

Nope. Since I'm a loyal note junkie. I'll be keeping my awesome note8.

Nope, staying put for right now.

Too many concessions...

Headphone jack and SD card support being the most egregious.

Wireless missing is vexing but ok.

It's just not a clear cut above the rest.

Nah. Stock Android is so boring to me. The Note 8 offers more things that I like.

However, I would like those front facing speakers!

It's not even in the same class as the Note, any Note, much less this awesome Note 8. Most users of the Note series are business people. If you haven't set Action Notes up on your Note 8 you just don't understand. The Note 8 with Action notes is a business tool, not just a new toy, which most cell phones are, they just aren't on the same level as the Note. With action notes while I'm on a call with a prospect I can take notes about the prospect, and the next time I talk to that number(it's tied to the number), the note icon comes up and I see for instance I talked to him about Dallas to OKC dry van loads for $750, three loads a week. His son's name is Johnny, he plays baseball and has a game on Saturday. These notes help me to turn prospects into customers, which means money, my "phone" just paid for itself many times over. '

Without a stylus it's just a phone. And maybe a camera, but Pixel 2 with less ram, cheaper, smaller, less battery life, no wireless charging, and less storage than a Note 8, but you get an Oreo. The Note 8 will get its Oreo soon enough, but it will make little to no difference in how I use the phone to run my business.

So I guess the short answer is No. ;)

No SD card, no wireless charging, no headphone Jack, no S Pen lol? No Pixel. Uh uh.. but nothing beats my Note 8 currently in my opinion. I can't put this thing down. Living for all these awesome features.

Spent 9 months with the Pixel Xl and no just no. No headphone jack, no sd card. And I learned immediately how much I really don't like vanilla android. The Note 8 is wonderful. Not going anywhere.

Let's face it, Samsungs Note series will always trash any other Android phone made. Period! Buying into Google is like buying into Apple. They are the greatest stalkers out there.

Yuck! No, I am not going to switch to a lower phone than my great note8.

I'm getting the pixel 2 xl at least to get out. I did like my original pixel. While I absolutely love my Note I can't help but try new devices. So I'll try it out and see how it goes. I'll be keeping my Note though.

I'm fortunate enough to get all the latest phones through work and I always stick with the Note as my primary. I'm an AT&T user and the lack of AT&T support among many other things is why the Pixel or any other unlocked device will never be my primary.

What is Action Notes? Or do you mean Action memo?

I don't know how people can just drop 800-900 bucks on a phone that's not even that different every 2 months...And why would you go for more bezels, a worse screen, and no wireless charging...AND as far as updates go, the days of bad Samsung software are over and I actually like Samsung Experience more than stock. Has all the features of Android Oreo plus more.

Definitely not. I'm sorry but compared to the Note8 the Pixel looks very ugly. I was always a Samsung girl anyway so I wouldn't ever stray to Google or LG. Samsung all the way. I'm sticking to this Note8 for a long while. It's an expensive phone and I don't have money to be getting every new phone that comes out.

I don't need the to have the latest toys.
My Note 8 will do just fine for the next 2-3 years.

Do people typically downgrade? I can't imagine why anyone would want to in this case
