Will do. I'll let you all know next week.

Nice. Did you finance or buy outright? I bought outright. Now I'm considering changing to 128 in case I keep it a couple years.Update: Nevermind, I'm sticking with 64. I'll put the $100 elsewhere.
Solid choice.I switched and went black XL 2 64gb
Agreed. The V30 has it so I was surprised to see the 2 XL not get it.Wished it had 600MHz
On the other side....who can complain about spending 600 dollars on a top tier phone? The battery in the XL is just about 1/3 larger than what is found in the Pixel 2 and the Screen Size is a whole inch larger and only adds .3 inches width and 1/2 inch of height.
decisions decisions decisions...
I might switch and get the Pixel 2 instead. After trade in my price owed would be 378 compared to 578. Is the XL worth 200 dollars or what? Bigger Battery, Bigger Screen, Smaller Bezels, but other than that what is the value.
One could argue size, the Pixel 2 is easier to handle in one hand.....Theoretically the smaller 1080p screen will require less power so is the 2700 battery going to last the same as the Pixel 2 XL. I think if that was the case I would make the switch more easily. Right now I am staying with the Black XL 2 64GB but I do have the Pixel 2 in the cart and am thinking about making the switch.
Same here. I could get a full day out of the PH-1 without much effort and typically have between 15 to 30% left on heavier days. But, losing 10% physical capacity with the same processor means 5 to 20% instead. Maybe Oreo is better on battery but nothing beats a bigger battery. It just makes me feel uneasy to buy a phone that doesn't have at least 3000 mAh.
