Pixel 2 VZW exclusive?

Will pixel 2 be a VZW exclusive? I don't know if they had a multi year deal. I think it would help if it is on all carriers. I have the Google version xl and have t mobile now. It works great and I used to have VZW. T-Mobile works well and has much faster and better coverage where I am and travel 99 percent of the time in North Ga mtns. I know you lose some carrier aggregation on T-Mobile because Google or TMobile blocked it, but I believe you still get 2x2. I think TMobile is going to be a real player nationwide in 3 years after they deploy all that spectrum they won. Still get 30-60 mb lte speed

Not likely since the first Pixel wasn't a Verizon exclusive.

It was the only carrier that sold them. They advertised it only on Verizon. You and I both know what I meant as I said I got it from Google.

Who knows? It was smart for Google to team up with Verizon. They're a big carrier and they agreed to advertise it a ton for them.. which they did. Helped get the word out there.

If AT&T sells the next version I'll consider switching back to them from T-Mobile. I recently switched to T-Mobile because I got sick of the lack of support from AT&T for unlocked devices (they do not support enhanced features like VoLTE or WiFi calling, and I could never receive MMS messages in group text conversations from T-Mobile Samsung users who had enhanced​ LTE features turned on). Switching to T-Mobile cured all my problems but brought new ones when it comes to coverage in Hawaii. When signal is good then yeah it's faster than I would see on AT&T but I have more areas of poor signal now on T-Mobile than I ever had with AT&T. Just goes to show that carrier coverage varies.

I say consider because I would still want an unlocked bootloader and ability to root etc.
