Pixel 2 wall paper keeps changing

Ive set my wallpaper to the calming coastline and after a few hours it automatically changes this to something else. It has happened many times. I've cleared the cache for wallpaper app. Still no luck. Does this happen to anyone else? Any fixes?

Actually, on the Pixel 2, it's just called "Wallpaper".

Go to the Wallpaper selector. Note that some of the categories (Cityscapes, Keep Looking, to name a few) have an option in the top-left rectangle that says "Daily Wallpaper - Tap to turn on"

Tap and you get a notification that says, "Wallpaper will change automatically every day..."

Is that what you did?

No I've checked everyone of them. None of them are turned on.

In that case, exactly which wallpaper are you attempting to use?

There are third-party wallpapers that do exactly what you are experiencing; possibly you installed one at some point in the past?

Yes that is the issue. At some point I was trying Microsoft launcher and Ven thoguh I made pixel launcher as default l, the MS launcher kept changing the wallpaper randomly. So I uninstalled it now and it appears to be OK
