Wow, great China pics!

Thanks for that.

I uploaded some videos a few weeks back. too. Still parsing the images. I only took about 600 on the Pixel 3 and another 1,200 or so on my camera. Then there were the videos taken on my Osmo Action camera. I might have gone overboard! (g)

Wow, those photos of China are exquisite - especially the Night Sight shots. The Pixel 3 truly does an amazing job with colours and detail.

I was happy with the results. I was kind of nervous as this was the Pixel's big test. I left the Verizon KeyOne home since it was either pay Verizon or pay for the trip! (g) The Pixel was on Google Fi which permitted access to gmail and yahoo and Gmaps, stuff others on the trip could not get to.

Here's some more night shots. Chongqing, China, home of the Pandas and the start of our trip through the Three Gorges on the Yangtze.

Zhongxian - they are not shy about lighting things up. We actually went outside the ship's dining room to see some small fireworks and turned around and saw this instead. The light colors changed on the hillside and the cable led's provided a moving pattern that was quite incredible. I may have posted videos above.

I'm on a roll... (g)

Another lighted bridge. Badong, Enshi, Hubei, China. You can almost make out the Chinese characters on the cables.

Looks like a fantastic trip -- which riverboat cruise company was it?

Looks like a fantastic trip -- which riverboat cruise company was it?

Well, it was actually a two week trip to China with Road Scholar. It began in Beijing and bounced around a bit.

The cruise was a three day happening in the middle. The cruise line was Victoria Cruises and the ship was the MV Selina. The cruise started in Chongqing (Pandas) and ended just above the Three Gorges Dam. Actually, I have to be honest - cruising, well, sea/river queasiness is not my thing - not constantly but there were times I was very aware I was on a boat!!!!

Then off to the airport and our last stop - Shanghai.

I've added a list of places and a map of the route, more or less. We flew between some places, took the Bullet Train between Guilin and Chongqing and the ship as noted.

It was a really well-organized, very full itinerary.

In and around Seattle including shots captured off my TV (g). In the "bridge" view, my house is probably about 5 or 6 blocks off to the west of the upper left hand corner of the screen. That's Leifur Eireksson aka Leif Erikson. A a shot of a Elliot Bay on a cloudy day when the sun finally makes it low enough that it shows itself just before sunset!

Beautiful, especially the water/cloud photo.
