Pixel 3 / 3 XL - Shipping Discussion

I checked the website this morning and the ship time had changed from October 31st to the 19th through 22nd. But then I got an email stating that the date had changed to the 23rd to 24th.
Got an email yesterday that said it shipped and would be here between the 22nd and 23rd. FedEx says the 23rd. Was hoping I'd get it today. Shipping from Carol Stream, IL. I live in Chicago, you'd think it could have come earlier.
 
Does anyone else have a delivery estimate this bad? I want some company in my misery. Worth noting this is a Project Fi Store order.

I can't get anyone at support to tell me if backorders are being processed in the order they were placed. I've seen people say that canceling and replacing orders shaved time off the estimate, which seems unfair to people who placed orders earlier.

Thats not good. If you go to fi today to order those phones they give you an expected date of mid November.

I originally ordered from the google store on the 9th but had to cancel that order and order through fi on the 10th to get the credit. My original order delivery date was the 10/18. My new order delivery date is 11/15. I talked to both the google store and fi customer support about this and they both said that orders are processed and ship in the order they were placed. But, if you ordered from Fi, you are in the Fi line for their allotment. If you ordered from the google store you are in their line for their allotment.

Thanks. I eventually got an email from someone saying the same thing, that they do fulfill based on when the order was placed (within the Fi Store). So I am going to keep my order as is and hope that the delivery estimate ends up being a severe overestimate, and that my phone and my wife's phone continue to function until then.

Hopefully it is. I just received an email that my date was pushed up to 10/24-25 from my original 11/14-15. I confirmed this with Fi CS and they said it looks correct, fingers crossed I get mine by the end of the week.

Two Pixel 3 XL's, clearly white, 128 gb.
 
Ordered a 3 / white / 128 on Saturday. It's supposed to arrive on Wednesday.

Wow, can't believe it. Case arrives with it. Dock is about a week or two behind.
 
Went on the VZW website and ordered the Not Pink pixel 3 XL for delivery tomorrow. Let’s see if that actually happens. Best Buy was a lost cause.
 
Just got a shipping update from Google, phone has been shipped and will be delivered tomorrow since I paid for overnight shipping. Case will be here tomorrow as well.

I ordered on October 10th, via Google Fi with new service. I ordered two Pixel 3 phones, one white and one black. Not shipped yet. Expected delivery date says Nov 9-10.
Also, I am trading in my device for credit and I received my box to return my old phone within a few days of ordering.

Just got my confirmation that my phone has been shipped and will be here tomorrow!! ?????? Canceling my order with Best Buy.
 
I ordered a black Pixel 3 128gb on Oct 9th at about an hour after the launch announcement. My initial email said Oct 23-24, then last week it changed to Oct 30-31. Now today I get an email saying it will be Nov 20-21.. I called up Google Store support (waited 40 mins on hold for someone) and they just told me they would escalate my issue after I mentioned how unpleased I was with the month push back considering I already have the Google Pixel stand and my Otterbox phone case in my hands.... Then I saw in this thread about Google fi having a different allotment amount potentially and setup a callback (2 min wait for a callback) to Google fi support and went it over with them. They told me there isn't separate allotments for Google Store and Google fi (I don't believe them) and that the phone was in high demand so there will be delays. I escalated up to to the call center supervisor and give my displeasure about the whole situation in a professional manner and was assured again there wasn't different allotments (still don't believe them). After which I found out since I ordered through Google fi and not Google Store with the no carrier unlocked option that I'd probably be getting my phone on time.. Also since I got it through Google fi I don't qualify for the $50 Google Play credit... So much for being a valued customer of Google fi for 6 years I guess that means nothing. Eventually they credited $20 to my account for a month of calling and text.. Oh yay that just makes up for everything doesn't it.. Thinking I might just cancel my order all together.

Anyone that has gotten their delivery date pushed back that is on Google fi should raise hell about why we are being treated like third rate customers. Apparently Verizon's customers are more important then the people that buy directly from Google.

Mine isn't that bad, but even if they first in first out they are lying to you. People are ordering phones days after the event and are getting them within a week. Ordered mine on the 9th with a delivery date of Nov 16-17. Friend ordered his on the 18th, same phone same store (black Pixel 3Xl 128GB through Fi), got his shipping notification today.
