Pixel 6 & 6 Pro screen protectors

I have one of the LK TPUs and it does a good job. Still holding out hope that the Zagg glass for the 6 Pro will be in stock someday soon.

Someone on Reddit recommended this glass screen protector:

For Google Pixel 6 Pro Screen Protector,Bubble-Free Compatible Fingerprint 3D Full Coverage 9H Hardness HD Tempered Glass Protector for Google Pixel 6 Pro(6.7") https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LQK6LG...ag=hawk-future-20&ascsubtag=UUacUvbUpU7009781

I currently have the LK plastic screen protector from Amazon. But I ordered one to test out as I wait for one from Zagg.

Update: The glass protector on Amazon is great with the exception of the fingerprint reader. It works great with the phone, but it looks fugly! The circle for the reader stands out while using the phone and it annoys me. You can see the actual outline for the reader when the screen is on or off. Just looks ugly!

The Zagg screen protector for the Pixel 6 Pro is stuck in supply chain snafu. I'm waiting for mine to show up as well.

I took my wife's iPhone in to RepairAll near us yesterday to have the screen replaced to be sent in as a trade. I asked the manager that was the only person on duty if they had anything for my P6P and he said nope. He said he has the S21 and only uses a liquid protector on his phones and the FPS works great. I'm not familiar with how well these liquid protectors work and would like to know if anyone here has thoughts on them.

I've used a couple variations in the past (cell helmet, liquid armor, etc.). They definitely add some slickness to the screen, but its only lasted a week or so. I tried it mostly for micro swirls/scratches. No success

I have used them and they work great. Plus they come with a guarantee.

If you're in Canada, they have iShieldz glass screen protectors available for the Pixel 6 Pro. I didn't see an option for shipping to the US so I assume it's not possible.

I just ordered the "UniqueMe" TPU screen protector. The plastic screen protectors are most likely all the same material cut from the same giant roll in China. As long as it fits and has decent instructions I'll be good to go.

On my 4 year old Pixel 2 XL I never used a screen protector. Only 1 tiny unnoticeable scratch came from using phone on the beach - sand not good to glass. I am not anal retentive, but I figure I'll see if I can keep this screen perfect. Still, I have found the naked screen just looks and feels better.

Please let us know how it works. I have a TPU on mine now, but would like to get glass. Hope this one is good.

I ordered one too as the one I have has a black ring around the entire thing and it is hard to see the color notifications around the camera.

I will. I ordered one and it will be here on Thursday. Hope the price is worth it.

Thanks. I saw that some if these glass ones have a visible circle where the fingerprint scanner is and I don't want that. Also interested to see if it actually curves around the edges or only covers the flat part of the screen.

If it has a circle for the fingerprint reader then that's a no-go for me and I will return it. Maybe they beat Zagg to the punch with a glass screen protector that's worth the price. Since they make products for Apple and Samsung, I don't think I have seen a lot of bad reviews for those specific products. We will see.

Just received it in the mail and it looks just like the one I ordered off Amazon with the circle on it for the fingerprint reader. These companies are all using the same screen protector! I will be returning it.

That's too bad. Thanks for being our beta tester and saving me the trouble.

So I slapped the screen protector on in order to be fair. I can say I've had no fingerprint issues getting the phone to accept my scans with the protector on. The protector went on with zero bubbles. To be fair, the quality seems better clarity wise where the fingerprint hole is located. I think the glue inside the circle from the previous protector made whatever you viewed through it look like trash. That's definitely not the case with the one from Sahara Case.

I'm going to give it a few days. The quality is definitely different than the one I ordered from Amazon, specifically noting the fingerprint reader area.
