It’s always interesting to me how so many people are willing to throw their money at the next new device. Still have my 4a that works perfectly fine, takes excellent pictures and is fast as the day I got it.

I was going to, but its running almost a 3 second delay behind the primary stream at https://pixelevent.withgoogle.com/
I mean, 1/10 second I could deal with, but that's way too long to wait! ;-)

Why do you care what people spend their money on? If I have the money and this is what I want to spend it one, thats my decision and in no way affects you. I'm sure everyone spend money on stuff we don't understand.

Very well said. My thoughts exactly. Now that I have my Pixel 6 in stormy black AND a Pixel 5a, I will use my s21ultra as a doorstop. And maybe I will buy another P6 in kinda coral ..or sorta seafoam...maybe both. A waste of money? It's MY money.

Heck I live in NYC. Do you have any idea what if costs to spend a single night out with friends or family. And that's just one night of food, drinks and entertainment. One of my buddies spends over a $1000 a year on new softball bats. You can't take it with you as they say. Deposable cash is exactly that, disposable. Dispose of it as you like.

I have about $5k invested in pool cues.$1k for a phone I'll use nearly as much and from which I'll get almost as much enjoyment is a bargain lol...
Have it, spend it. I'm 73, I'm trying my best to leave NOTHING other than a house, a few trucks, a camper, a heck of a lot of Nikon camera equipment, handguns; some Weatherbys, and lots of ammo.
So a new phone to replace my 18 month old 4XL is on the horizon; which one it will be is still up in the air (Pixel 6, S22?). Do I need it? NOPE! But I didn't need the 2022 GMC 2500 Denali Diesel I just ordered to replace a 2018. But I want it!

Weatherbys. I've always admired the beauty, and strength, of the mk5. Never got around to actually purchasing one, though.
