Pixel 6.

These heavy duty cases come in two parts. The main body that the phone snugs in and the top screen protector. The main case can be used without the screen protector if desired. I use both on my Pixel 4a.
The full case does add weight. The naked Pixel 4a weighs 143g/5.04oz. With case 209g/7.25oz.

When I first held the P4a I felt like it could squirt out of my hand like a Watermelon seed. I had my caseless Blackberry Key² come unclipped from its holster and immediately run over by a suv. I heard the crunch. With that very sad memory in mind I looked for a heavy duty case for my Pixel. I prefer holsters over pockets. I think a tank could roll over this one and it would protect this phone. Ok...a bit hyperbolic but I think it will survive a suv.
Attached is the case for the P6 Pro.

Thank you for explaining the product to me and how it works! Oh, NO! What a horrific end for your BlackBerry! That sound would be embedded in my mind, too! Sometimes I like the added bulk provided by cases. Awesome accessories for your Pixel!

Not only can I still hear the "crunch" but spotting my phone laying on the asphalt just seconds before the tire rolled over it and the accompanying sounds of death. Ugh!!

News flash from 9to5google. Labels have been spotted at Target showing the price of Pixel 6 $599, and Pixel 6 Pro $898. If this is true it is INSANE.

I'm choosing to believe this is either fake, an error, or not showing a critical * leading to fine print saying that that's the price with activation.

I figure that way I'll be delighted if I'm wrong, and not upset if I'm right. I truly can't envision them offering the Pixel 6 with its array of upgrades over the Pixel 5 for $100 less.

I agree. And considering all the r&d Google has put into it. Probably closer to $800 and $1000.

Then again, dang it, tweets like this support it....

But... Rick Osterloh had indicated a couple of months ago that the Pixel 6 would be expensive, and a premium-priced product.

But again... a lot can happen in a the span of a couple of months, especially wherein there have been major launches from key competitors, to lead them to reevaluate pricing.

If these prices are true I'll be all over a pixel 6 :p . And Google will be selling these phones like there's no tomorrow ;)

No doubt pricing will be a big feature. However, unless it is free, there will be many people like me who are interested, but will sit back and wait till the reviews are in and time has progressed to get an idea how great the phone really is.

I agree with you.

I too like giving new releases - especially new releases with a new chip or software operation system - a few months before deciding whether or not I will buy it.

True. The leaked pricing might be a "relative" bargain, but it's still too high (for most) to be considered an impulse buy at launch.

Those have to be prices w/ a contract, right? There's no way these devices can be this cheap just standard..... right?.....

I just can't see the P6 less than P5... Logic says No... We shall see like you said maybe with incentive for carrier lines or some promo

I still owe ~$950 on my S21 Ultra 256gb. I may end up selling it in the spring after I've paid on it for a year before I make a decision on the Pixel 6. I will usually use my tax return to pay off my balance and then sell it on Swappa to recoup the cost. I've done this on my last two phones, the 4xl and iPhone 12 pro. Both phones I had for less than a year. It will depend on the reviews on the Pixel 6 and whether I can sell my phone for the payoff amount.

It will look like an attractive option to my wife if I'm going to a cheaper priced phone. She never understands why I switch phones so often as she's an iPhone user. I've gone back and forth between ios and Android a couple of times.

I'm not unhappy with my S21 Ultra; but the 6 intrigues me. I figure I'm always going to have a phone payment, I might as well have the latest.

I know what you mean. I have an S21ultra and am very happy with it. BUT...there's something intriguing about that new Pixel with Google's own Tensor chip. Five years of security updates. Neat colorways. Very cool indeed.
