Pixel 6.

I dunno, this has got to be an actual upgrade for me to stay. The camera is the same one as the 2XL, again, I am out. I can't keep giving Google a pass.

It NEEDS to have a great processor, and way, way, WAAAAAY better battery life, plus an actual camera developed in the 2020's.

The fact that the Pixel community keeps telling them this and they keep ignoring it is distressing. The battery in the 3XL, 4 and 4XL is an embarrassment.
I didn't have issue on pixel 3xl or my Pixel 4xl but it's definitely not like my Pixel 5

Have never had a complaint about the battery life on my 4XL, but have read there were some who did, and Google replaced the battery.

But they are not for everyone, and if not for you; there sure are plenty others to pick from.

Good luck.

October can't come soon enough! I really want to see more about what the Pixel 6 has to offer.

Unless the Pixel 6 comes in an XL variant, I can't seem me dashing away from my 4XL

I don't consider the 4a 5G to be an upgrade; in some ways it's a downgrade, you just get 5G (which Giffgaff (via O2 in the UK) isn't on anyway and it's not like I need it, personally

What'd be ideal for me is for the 6 XL to be 6.5" or slightly bigger, nice, decent flat screen (no stupid curved edges) and a superb camera and slick software, like the 4XL has...

That'd make me consider it

I'm with you about a flat screen. As much as I love curved screens aesthetically-speaking, finding a screen protector for them is a nightmare!

Fully agree

However, the one factory fitted to the Note 20 Ultra I briefly had was very good; as seem to be the OP ones too

But I'd still rather have a large, flat screen, just like the Nexus 6 and 6P had

IMO; they were perfect!

I'd love the Nexus 6 to make a comeback with all modern tech and the latest Android etc... Best phone I ever had

I would *totally* buy a Nexus 6-like phone with modern Android tech and OS!

Yup; for me, it'd be the prefect sized handset, tall and wide. Perfect for my shovel like hands ;)

Mine started to do that; fortunately it was still in warranty, so Google replaced it :)

Phew! That's good that they replaced it! It's always a good thing when those kinds of occurrences happen *during* your warranty.

I'm really considering a Pixel 6 for my next phone. My contract will be up around the same time the 6 débuts - if Google follows their usual October release date. I really hope it's what I'm looking for.

Please at least 6.4 inches, face unlock, duh. In display fingerprint scanner. That simple.
