Been trying to keep up with all the leaks as best as possible, haven't seen anything recently mentioning the possibility of a desktop mode for the Pixel 8 series. Doing a search on it pulls up articles from early on in the summer mentioning this as a possibility, but not coming across any recent info on it. Anybody heard anything as of late as to whether or not this will be a feature?

Still an Exynos, so the modem will likely still be inferior.

I'd take anything read on Forbes with a few grains of salt.

I'll be trading in my P Fold...I'll be losing my shirt but I never use the fold opened.

I'll take the better camera and the face unlock is very good on the fold expect the same.

This year I will wait for the first factual reviews, and only then will I decide to buy (or not). I would really like to see the video recording capabilities, whether there is still a lot of noise after dark.
