Pixel owners how you feel new iPhone

Some people buy every new phone out there, and I am baffled how they manage to do so. But I guess most of these people earn a lot more than £8.68 an hour.

I am not jealous, just a different perspective on these things and their intrinsic values I guess.

I think for some folks buying and trying phones is their hobby. They buy, they sell.
I choose to spend my money in other ways. I typically buy a phone and keep it for at least two years, longer if I can.

Not much of an improvement this year except the max. The R is the most interesting model middle in size with almost every feature.

But the Xr isn't a budget phone. At $750 for the base model, that's a premium phone price. It just seems budgety because of the insane prices of the other two models.

He didn't say it was a budget phone , but I agree with you it has a high price tag no budget there.

They didnt seem to launch much this year as far as improvement go some thought the lighting charger was going away as well as face ID I guess they were surprised.

Happy with my Pixel 2 I bought brand new for $250 at Walmart...Still one of the best phone cameras...

I dislike ios , so it wouldn't matter what the phones are like, also really dislike how they run their stores, the phones were never ready when they said they would be.... and it is impossible to call the store and check on your item.

I see the pixel launch getting more activity then the iPhone this year. Smartphones in general sales are dropping every year due to the high cost of them every year.

I don't see how that's possible. The iPhone has a much larger population of customers than Pixel. That would only happen if Pixel acquired customers from other Android OEMs.

Cost isn't why sales are dropping. Increased quality and reliability are.

And if you think the Pixel will get more activity than the iPhone this year I have a bridge to sell you.

The iPhone has never interested me . . . until now. I started with the Blackberry Storm (still like the click screen concept) and transitioned to the Motorola Droid 2 Global . . . no regrets. Nothing Apple put out before has ever piqued my curiosity.

Now that Android handset manufacturers have largely given up on removable batteries, microSD storage (a la Nexus/Pixel), headphone jacks, and minimal bezels (Hello screen notch!), I have fewer hardware differences to choose from. Add to that the move away from the Steve Jobs aversion to large iPhone screens, and I have even less to compare (physically).

Taken in total, I really think I'm going to order the iPhone XR (and maybe Apple watch 4 too). I haven't seen anything about the Pixel 3 which would entice me to upgrade over my Pixel 2 XL (the notch maybe?). It took eleven years, but I think Apple finally "got" to me (I'm keeping the Pixel 2 XL).

I can't lie. I bought an iPhone X S Max with a series 4 cellular watch.
