Apparently signal & connectivity are more complicated than just the antenna?
I am verizon and in whats suppose to be a urban/good area. We switched from sprint to verizon probably 6 years ago and were happy to pay more so the phones we owned would work. We also have 6 people on our account. 6 people over 6 years probably 15 or more phones. I have had the 5 phones listed before over the last month and my pixel xl 128 is by far the worst. Signal wise, because other then that its a great phone. Not as good as my note 7 but a great phone.
Just goes to show how area + networks affect people differently. As I said I get the same everywhere I go (work desk, home, out w/ friends, etc.) that I did with my Note 7. Always within that 1-3 range.
Is there any kind of pattern regarding this signal issue as to whether or not your phone came from Verizon or Google? And is it being used on Verizon mainly? Verizon recently Had issues with the iPhone 7 and poor signal and dropped calls. Wondering if it's more Verizon then the pixel.
Curious if your wife got the update for her 7. It seems to have fixed the RF problems.not sure any one issue or situation will explain anything. I can say that with verizon my wifes iphone 7 and my pixel xl are not as good as her iphone 5s and my... well my g4, n7, s7e, n7, pixel xl. I am currently waiting to hear back from the verizon tech monitoring my lines. Hoping its this unit and not a systemic issue (specific to me in my house and the circles I circulate in).
Came from the note 7 mess, hoping Google Pixel had it going on, but they forgot 1 thing.... SIGNAL STRENGTH. (Well 2 things wifi connection), (Well 3 things Bluetooth connection problems)

Honestly after my pixel the next worst phone is my sons core prime, which is a cheapy anyway and is abused by a 12 yo. Also on the bad list is my wifes new iphone 7. At first we thought it was just my phone but she has had some dropped calls as well. Not nearly as much as me.

You should have learned from their pixel C tablet debacle that the wifi and Bluetooth would suck on this device.......
