I know I have GPS issues as well as a very slow signal thats no where near 3g. I cant even watch videos if Im not on my WIFI signal at home. So since I'm trying out a sense rom, what can I do so that when I switch back to my MIUI I can have everything working? Currently running the latest version on MIUI 1.4.1.

do a nandroid backup....thats pretty much it. when you restore it, everything that was there comes on back as if you never flashed another ROM

Ok I will try those. I have already done a nandroid backup. Is there a link as far as restoring a backup goes? Also is flashing a sense rom the same as flashing any rom (complete wipe, format and flash)?

every time you flash a new ROM you should do a complete wipe...this is jic there is anything on the current ROM that is not compatible with the ROM you are going to be flashing.

to restore a backup, its the same way as doing a nandroid backup....instead of hitting backup, there should be a option for restore

what custom recovery are you using? ClockworkMOD or Amon_RA?

ok...there should be an option for "Restore" on the main page of the recovery....thats how you can restore your nandroid backups if you have any problems or just want to change back

Here's what you do.....

1. Flash Sprint Lovers Rom over a XDA. Flashing this rom will update all of your radios.

2. Why you're still on that rom do the Cm7 GPS fix posted above.

That should fix your GPS and 3g....

3. Do a nandroid backup just to have a stock looking rom. Just in case, you never know.

4. To fix VVM so you can use it on Miui, do this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982966
Works great... and you get another 30 free trial of voice to text.

5. Go to the market and download " Full MDHI Mirroring for EVO 4g. That will take care of MDHI output.

No fix for 4g yet....

Hope that helps you out a bit.

I think(but not 100% sure) Sprint Lovers is the only one that updates the radios. I could be wrong.

Just as southphilly said, to update the radios I also believe it has to be sprint lovers

But if you're looking to just fix the gps then any sense rom will do

Didn't seem like that fixed anything, I might stick with this sense rom until they fix MIUI a little more though. Everything works with the Sprint lovers rom, and I forgot how much I missed that. I love MIUI though and plan to come back after a few more updates....
