Planning to pass on the VZW GS4 and get the Lucid 2 instead

Well, in truth I'm going to be keeping my GS3 and getting the Lucid 2 for my wife (previous plan was to get the GS4 and give my current GS3 to my wife.)

When looking at it, paying $250 or so just to go back to a locked phone (then waiting for the unlock and stable ROMs etc.) that doesn't really look to offer tangible additions, not that worth it.

Checked out the lucid 2 at the store this weekend and it looks like a really nice phone (for my wife's needs.) Being free on contract renewal is too good to pass up.

The money saved will most likely go towards a new 7" tablet once Google I/O comes and goes.

The Lucid 2 is a phenomenal phone for free. I would even pay $50 for this phone on contract. 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, 2,460 mAh battery... cant beat it for value!
