**Possible FB push Fix**

**PUSH FIX** Think I might have found why my I wasn't getting PUSH.. on your PC go to you FB acct settings, notification tab, go all the way to the bottom to where it says other applications, CHECK "Android Sync" and HIT SAVE!.. was only getting push notifications before up in notifications bar only when opening FB app, now Im getting push notif. within 5 to 20 minutes! not amazing but better than nothing!..tested this with another account I had.. and Ive had FB chat working ever since the update... (Running a Rooted Droid Incredible with Skyraider3.5 rom) ***No Guarantees though** lol mine started working immediately after I did this(Slow push that is), yours may not, worth a try, good luck!! sidenote: FB for android still sucks for multiple reasons and I think theres a conspiracy or something.. like RIM or Apple quietly Paying off FB to Take their time making a comparable App to help their device sales! Seriously **** like this happens in business world on the low

mine does not show "Android Sync" .it shows htc sense.

I am not seeing a "android sync" button either.

count me in on the no android sync, although i was getting push when I installed the app originally. It seemd to have stopped now though

i like the chat and it works fine but no alerts or sounds.

Me too, I see HTC sync not android sync. I'm on an stock EVO by the way.

really!??!, well was htc sense not checked? because I think mine was unchecked and I checked that too as well as maybe laucher pro cant remember.. wonder where "android sync" came from then? dont have a app called that.. btw im running launcherpro over skyraider 3.5 sense rom.

I only have HTC sense as an option as well. I tried in my accounts settings on my dinc to add Facebook. Facebook for sense is already on there. I tried to delete the sense version and add regular facebook, but it would not let me. Very stranged.

Anyway, I did save the HTC sense check box on my fb page and I'll see if there is a difference. I do miss the instant updates from my bb.

ditto on no android sync on my droid inc, stock froyo running launcher pro+...still though it shouldn't be this hard.....and i agree with you @marcg611, didnt mark and steve had a meeting a few weeks ago? http://mashable.com/2010/10/16/steve-jobs-mark-zuckerberg/
