I'm guessing this is a common issue w/ those who have upgraded. I have a white G2 on VZW and since the upgrade I am constantly having trouble playing anything audio in any programs. Podcasts, music, or audiobooks all will stop at random times. This happens when streaming content or playing downloaded content. Has anyone found any crazy key combination to get this fixed since there has been no update?

In just Play Music, or in ANY streaming app? I use my G2 to stream from Pandora, Spotify, and XM Sirius all the time and it never pauses or skips... I have very little internal music loaded, but I usually use WinAMP or Fusion player and have no issues. The only thing I use the stock player for is voicemail WAV file attachments in emails.

Play Music does have a known issue where it will pause at times when streaming, most people have it, but I have heard little issues with other media or players.

I have tried it with different apps. Pocketcast, Plex, Hearts of Space and they all have the same issue.

Odd... Have you tried a factory default after getting the upgrade? It is HIGHLY recommended if you have any issues since although on the surface it looks very similar, the underlying changes are quite extensive.

I'd do a factory reset.

I upgraded to stock kitkat and had terrible idle battery drain and a reset fixed it. now the phone is better than when on jellybean, where it was my all time favorite phone.

I use pocketcasts, poweramp, tune in pro, and Spotify daily and haven't had any issues since update.

Sent from Tapatalk using my xposed VZW G2 :)

I think I've resolved my issue with a FDR. Knock on wood, so far, so good. I didn't want to do it, but the pausing was driving me nuts!

No joy on this issue. There is no consistent set of circumstances that cause this to happen. Very frustrating when your hands are wet and the music just stops. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
