How did you add shortcuts/widgets to the main dock?

In ADW you can drag over SiMi Folders and Apps Organizer folders and it works like any other shortcut (even the hidden dock!) Doesn't support widgets though.

SiMi folder is a widget though.. I'll have to try this out.

how do you get rid of the + for the unused dock icons?

Just did it. Long press home screen then select shortcut then find the simi widget and select it then select the folder you made and then drag and drop on the dock and there you go

I like a non-cluttered device. I use LauncherPro with a custom dock that I found here on Android Central along with SiMi Folders on the main screen.

ok, basically Im using Launcher Pro Plus, the clock widget is called Today Briefing, you can find the link to .apk couple of pages back. But if you want a nice clock/weather widget, shell out a couple of bucks and get either Beautiful Widgets or Fancy Widgets, both can be found in the market. As for the icons on the screen or the dock the posibilities are endless. In the link below you'll find 100s of links to all kind of icon sets. After you get all that in order you can use your launcher to play with your widgets. Ive never used ADW launcher but it also will let you resize and do all kinds of cool stuff with you widgets.
