thanks. yeah, i've installed SDK. my issue right now is once i connect my phone and trying to install the drivers. the only thing i can think of is the cable i'm using is a charge only cable, so i'll have to retry later with a different cable. otherwise, i guess i'm SOL.

How is it a "Charge Only" cable? Is it not the one that came with the phone?

no, that one is at home and i'm at the office. i'm not certain that's the problem though.

I didn't think they made "Charge Only" USB cables... Did you put your phone in Debugging Mode?

So I took your recommendation and downloaded all of the above....questions though, why when I edit a shortcut there is a couple listed? That doesn't allow to have all of my apps shown because I have multiple icons of every app. Some even repeated 5 times. How do u delete the extras?

Also, did u have trouble changing certain icons? The mail icon keeps switching back to normal

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I was having these problems also but i just started using folderorganizer to change my icons. Just create a shortcut in folderorganizer and you can customize the icon from that then just place a folderorganizer item widget where you want it.
